PostQuil is looking for writers who can turn a useful idea into a clear, well-researched article. If you have real expertise or a sharp point of view on technology, business, finance, health, marketing, or travel — we’d like to read your pitch.
What We’re Looking For
We publish practical, reader-first content — the kind of article you’d bookmark because it actually answers the question you searched for. We’re less interested in generic listicles and more interested in pieces that show real understanding of a topic: specific, useful, and honestly written.
Topics We Cover
Don’t see your exact topic listed? If it’s genuinely useful to a curious, general-interest reader, pitch it anyway.
Submission Guidelines
- Original, unpublished work — no content that already exists elsewhere online, in whole or in substantial part
- 1,000+ words for standard features; shorter, tightly written pieces considered case by case
- Clear structure with descriptive subheadings — write for skimmers, not just linear readers
- Claims backed by credible, linkable sources (official documentation, studies, reputable outlets)
- A genuine point of view or practical takeaway — not just a summary of what’s already out there
- Free of excessive self-promotion, keyword-stuffing, or link schemes
- Clean, publication-ready copy — we’ll edit for house style, but heavy rewrites may be declined
Full editorial standards, including our policy on AI-assisted drafting and disclosure requirements, are covered in our Editorial Guidelines.
What We Don’t Accept
- Thinly veiled advertorials or press releases
- Plagiarized, spun, or AI-generated text submitted without human review and editing
- Unqualified medical, legal, or financial claims presented as fact
- Content built primarily around a link to a client or product, rather than the reader’s benefit
Author Bio & Links
Accepted articles are published under your byline with a short author bio (2–3 sentences) and, where relevant, one link to your website or social profile. Additional in-content links are evaluated on their editorial merit — they should help the reader, not just the linked site. Any financial or personal interest in a topic, product, or company you write about must be disclosed.
How to Pitch
- Send a short pitch — one or two sentences per idea, or a full draft if you already have one — through our Contact Us page.
- Include 2–3 links to your previously published writing, if available.
- Let us know if the piece is a simultaneous submission elsewhere.
- We’ll get back to you if it’s a fit. Given submission volume, we’re not able to respond individually to every pitch.
